Competences
The competences of the Sectoral Committee of the National Register were laid down by article 16 of the Act of 8 August 1983 on the National Register of natural persons.
The Sectoral Committee of the National Register possesses the following competences:
- grant access to information from the National Register;
- authorize access of the national register number;
- supervise the application and observation of the acts on:
- the National Register;
- the population registers;
- the identity cards;
- deal with complaints;
- help resolve disputes;
- conduct certain investigations.
