Composition

The Committee is composed of six permanent members and six substitutes, including:

  • three external members;
  • three Commission members.

In principle, the Commission's President chairs the Committee. If he renounces the presidency, the Commission will designate a member as President.

External members are appointed because of their expertise in the sector:

  • legal expertise;
  • professional and practical experience in the use of data;
  • special expertise in e-government and/or administrative simplification.
